I'm stoked to announce the launch of my latest company AirReelStock! For too long Aerial Stock footage has been overpriced for the average consumer. I encountered this problem when I was coming up in the industry and found myself being charged $300-$500 for single aerial clips that I didn't have money or budget for, whether it was a music video, personal youtube video, film project, commercial etc. Not only that, but often these "STOCK SITES" don't curate their footage or catalogue which leaves hundreds of thousands of clips thrown about… so naturally they lack a certain quality and curation. Do What You Want!

A lot of people think I’m being paid to travel and make these films, and the answer to that assumption is NOT AT ALL. I actually lose money on these trips. I don’t get free hotel stays, I don’t get paid to promote some brand or silly product and I often I pay the way for my friends and family to come along and enjoy the experience with me. It’s not about $ for me, I’ve come to find I just really really enjoy doing it. I love to get out of my comfort zone, explore what this beautiful world has to offer, and capture it on film. The older you get, the more you realize how quickly life passes you by. It sounds so cliche, but we all know it, life seems like life is moving in fast forward sometimes, and we also know it can end in the blink of an eye, without warning. I say all this to say, whatever it is you want to do, do it, and if you can’t yet, then work really hard so you can.

Tropic Colour | LUTS, Filmmaking Effects, & Assets

Recently, I was approached by a new company ‘Tropic Colour’ They began as several colorist and filmmakers working in the industry on various commercials, films, and music videos. They were and are familiar with my work and the following I’ve built around products I create and sell to my fellow filmmaker supporters and followers. Their collective of creatives recently decided to form a company that sells a variety of products and filmmaking assets to filmmakers. Their product catalog includes items like LUTS, Music Video Treatment Templates, Anamorphic Flares, Light Leaks, Special Effects Assets like fire, smoke, dust particles and more (Sample Images Below). Not all of their products are fully released yet as they are slowly rolling everything out, but I’ve got a chance not only to use their products first hand but also witness their unreleased products like the anamorphic flares pack, light leaks, particles etc and they’re amazing!
